The five candies I have chosen to look at their fonts are; Extra(Spearmint), Haribo, Hershey’s(With Almonds); Cadbury(MilkChocolate), and Lindt Excellence.
Here are my thoughts on why the font of each packaging is well suited for the intended audience.
- Extra – The Audience is really for people who are around 10 through adulthood.
- Haribo – Mostly meant for young children due to the big font and the cute little bear on the packaging.
- Hershey’s – Hershey’s is for everyone, which is why the plain text works very well.
- Cadbury & Lindt – Both of these brands use fancy fonts, and are meant more for an older audience whom may be reminded of their past.
